Diwali with Pets — Terms & Conditions

Please read these conditions before booking and attending the event.

1. I agree that my booking is confirmed only after successful payment and confirmation from the organisers.
2. I agree that the organisers reserve the right to reschedule the event or materially change its timing, venue, activities, or arrangements, with changes communicated through my registered contact details.
3. I agree that bookings are non-refundable, including for cancellation, non-attendance, late arrival, rescheduling, or changes to event arrangements, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
4. I agree that I am responsible for my belongings and valuables throughout the event.
5. I agree that my dog must remain securely leashed, under my control, and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
6. I agree that my dog must have completed age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, with boosters up to date. I will provide vaccination records if requested.
7. I agree that I will not bring a dog showing signs of illness, a contagious condition, an active flea or tick infestation, or a dog in heat.
8. I agree that I must disclose any history of biting, aggression, reactivity, allergies, injuries, or handling sensitivities before attending.
9. I agree that I am responsible for supervising my dog’s interactions and for injury or damage caused by my dog, to the extent attributable to me under applicable law.
10. I agree that the organisers are not responsible merely because my dog injures another dog or is injured by another dog at the event. This does not exclude liability arising from an organiser’s negligence, misconduct, or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
11. I agree that I must immediately inform the organisers of any bite, injury, accident, or safety concern.
12. I agree that I must obtain permission before touching or feeding another dog or allowing my dog to approach it.
13. I agree that I must clean up after my dog and bring waste bags and other essentials my dog needs.
14. I agree that I must follow workshop instructions and keep my dog away from hot wax, flames, electrical equipment, and materials that could be swallowed.
15. I agree that my dog’s participation depends on its comfort and suitability. Staff may modify or stop an activity if my dog appears distressed or unsafe.
16. I agree that the pawdicure offered by Heads Up For Tails is subject to my dog’s comfort and safe handling, and is not veterinary treatment.
17. I agree that I must disclose relevant food allergies and must not feed human snacks to dogs unless specifically confirmed as pet-safe.
18. I agree that I am responsible for arranging veterinary care for my dog when needed and associated costs, subject to any other person’s legal responsibility for the incident.
19. I agree that children attending with me must remain supervised by their parent or guardian.
20. I agree that I must follow reasonable venue and organiser instructions and treat people and animals respectfully. Organisers may refuse entry or require me to leave for unsafe conduct or a material breach of these conditions.
21. I agree that Petcom and Heads Up For Tails may photograph or film me and my pet during the event and use this content for event-related promotion, including social media, websites, and advertising, without payment. I will notify the organisers before photography if I do not wish to be featured. Identifiable promotional images of children require their parent’s or legal guardian’s permission.
22. I agree that my submitted contact details may be used by Petcom and Heads Up For Tails for booking administration, event updates, incomplete-booking follow-up, and future event announcements, offers, and promotions, subject to applicable consent and communication requirements. I may opt out of future promotional messages.
23. I agree that nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies available to me under applicable law.
